Venue & COVID Safety


We at C&IT are committed to make sure our return to live events and forums are as COVID safe and secure as we can make them. We are constantly monitoring and following Government guidelines and advice, and will be working with our suppliers to make sure that we provide a quality event that you expect from C&IT in a socially distanced environment.

See below some of the steps and procedures we'll be putting in place for this event.

  • County Hall is measured against the governments ‘five steps to safer working together’ which In line with the rules are also displayed for public view.

  • etc.venues continue to support the track and trace system using two measures. Details supplied in advance are saved electronically for 21 days in addition to the NHS COVID 19 Application with all etc properties holding a unique scanning code.

  • etc.venues have undergone a complete review of all of their Health and Safety policies to create a further 27 Risk assessments and SOP’s dedicated to managing the venue during the pandemic.

  • etc.venues made an investment of tens of thousands in PPE for both staff and guests with a ‘COVID expert’ in each venue

  • etc.venues made an investment in the latest disinfectant fogging technology with machines held at all of the open properties to ensure the most effective deep clean of the venue every evening.
  • Heightened cleaning regimes throughout the day with COVID secure sign off. This has led to achieving further accreditation. This certificate has been issued by Navitas a completely independent auditing body based on assessment of the venue and the increased measure in place. 

  • In addition to Sanitiser being available in all of the public areas, etc.venues continue to offer individual bottles per guest every day as part in addition to government guidelines on effective hand washing in all of our facilities.

  • etc.venues continue to offer table service for Breakfast and lunch. It is still the full day delegate continental breakfast and lunch however, everything has been preloaded in to a Bento Box and is served straight to guests at their table. 

  • The restaurant remains socially distanced and each client is given a seperate space for breakfast breaks and lunch.

  • The coffee machines remain self-service and free flowing with an enhanced cleaning regime, alongside separate break times and social distancing.
